It's forested, at least in the initial area, with trees similar to deciduous trees, looking upwards of 100 years old. The trees are not densely situated, but rather loosely populated, allowing for sunlight to come between the branches. It is not enough for grasses to grow except in small patches where a branch fell recently. The forest itself is teaming with life, with dear sized herbivores and flying bird-like creatures. There may be rodent analogues but they have yet to be seen.
No recent signs of large and/or dangerous predators.
(This is all preliminary. The world I was originally going to use is much better suited for later game.)

Basic run down of that I describe:
Forest floor is a patchy green with lights and darks I imagine there are brown tones too but at the moment I didn't really take a better look.
The floor is rather thin (meaning there isn't a lot of underbrush) there are new growth trees and some smaller plants it is also not all that even because there are a lot of roots
The vines have longer leaves and are a very pale green/yellow that turn red with extended exposure to sun (heat cause probably)
The big trees have very light white/grey bark and look smooth. Their leave are a dark emerald green and have diamond shaped leaves that are probably really big.
the black trees have much rougher bark and don't get to be really tall. Their foliage is lighter grey color and have round leaves about 2-3 wide
Thats all I have at the moment after I do my second post I will do more.
there is a description in my post here it is again:
It was breath taking. Before us a rich sea of greens and white spread beyond our sights, small hills of thick moss and vine plants surrounded us. Most of the trees were so tall that only the bottom layers of branches were visible, the trunks were so large the four of us could more than likely live comfortably in one. Each tree was a near pale white, perhaps a bit more grey then anything. The bark looked smooth, much like silver birches, even when spitting off to form another branch of deep emerald tinted diamond shaped leaves. Some of the smaller trees found in patch of sun light were the same white tree just smaller and others were a deep black with far rougher looking bark and much lighter jade colored leaves that were near perfect circles. The more vine like plants were even lighter green in color and stood out with drastic contrast to the vibrancy of the forest floor In some places the vines branched out into a near red mostly where ever they got the most sun they also grew up on their own like they followed an invisible support. There were many other plants, some with flowers of vibrant oranges, yellows, and reds. Others more variants of green, some fern like ones, others more shrub like
